360 Worldwide provides “contract management solutions” for contractors. Depending on the country of work, contract duration and other circumstances pertinent to the engagement, 360 Worldwide will structure the contractor as:
employed
Under this type of “solution” the contractor is employed by 360 Worldwide or by 360 Worldwide’s partner in the country of work. Appropriate wage tax and social security contributions are deducted at source and paid to the relevant authorities.
self employed
360 Worldwide will facilitate the contractor’s registration as a self-employed person in the country of work. The registration is done with the assistance of our recommended in-country accountant. Although the ultimate responsibility for completion of tax return and tax payment rests with the contractor, 360 Worldwide will closely monitor that these are being done correctly so as to assure the staffing agency that the contractor is working compliantly.
personal service company:
Not every country allows contractors to work through their Personal Service Company (PSC). Where permitted and provided all legal requirements are fulfilled 360 Worldwide will manage contractors under this structure. This way of working may be, but is not always, permitted for a six month period (various definitions apply) and will be more appropriate for nationals working in their own countries. 360 Worldwide will request that the contractor provide necessary documentation.
